Learning European history through use of Drama

Seven european schools will work together in Comenius and etwinning projects to discover European history through use of drama.

Partner meeting: 15 to 18 April 2013 at Escola Secundária de Monserrate, Viana do Castelo, Portugal.


Citânea – 16 April 2013

In the morning, we visited Gil Eanes, an hospital ship in the docks. After having lunch and getting in traditional celtic clothing, we walked up quite a few stairs until we reached an ancient celtic village. There, we learnt how these people used to live and recreated their culture. Next, we took the elevator to the dome of “Santuário de Santa Luzia”, where we could see the entire city.

Visit to Ponte de Lima – 18 April 2013

In the afternoon, we travelled by bus to Ponte de Lima and recorded the “Legend of Lethes” with international students”. Afterwards, we visited Ponte de Lima's old town.
